What’s with our name?

 

It started as an inside nickname for our dog Charley.  Any given day you could find him running about and exploring outside.  He always came back with green paws (or grinch toes).  No, this was not a strange fungal infection but rather due to him playing in the damp grass.  Well, since grinch did not quite have the ring we were looking for, we settled on Green Pawz Dog Walking.  Shortly thereafter, we realized there has to be more to our name.

We decided to offer our pet services with a green twist.  We know there are eco-friendly pet owners like ourselves out there and if we could help promote a greener lifestyle for people and their pets why not!

 

· Since we understand that your pet’s health is important we provide organic treats for your dog and cat during visits

· We ensure that any printed materials we use is only printed on paper made with the highest percent of post-consumer waste

· We use 100% bio-degradable waste bags made from corn, which is a renewable resource

· We offer quarterly e-newsletters containing tips on how to live a green

· During warmer weather you may just find us zipping to and from our client’s homes via scooter power to help decrease our carbon footprint  (plus it’s just plain fun!)

 

However small these steps may be, we are striving to be part of the solution and not the problem that seems to be ever increasing in our daily environment.
